Since 2016, Thrive Early Learning Centres has experienced significant success and growth. We are founded by our clear vision ‘Being committed to children’s futures through creating lifelong learning experiences through a rich and stimulating learning environment where children and their families feel secure and supported'.
We currently have 13 operating centres across NSW and VIC, catering for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
We are entirely Australian and privately owned and operated, employing over 300 professionals and supporting over 2,500 children.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands on People & Culture Manager who will work true to our mission statement “Thrive is committed to excellence in early education”.
Reporting to the General Manager and working within a small and growing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources and talent development including but not limited to;
- End to end recruitment
- Industrial relations
- Training and development
- Workplace health & safety and
- Community engagements and events.
Your key priorities will be to:
- Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasises quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance
- Performance management and improvement systems
- Developing the HR and Talent Strategy
- Update and execute HR strategies, policies, and practices
- Improving and monitoring employee productivity
- Managing staff wellness initiatives
- Full recruitment and staffing across all services and support office
- Managing and evaluation of the sponsorship program
- Optimising the HR software system, Employment Hero
- Development and implementation of an Employee Value Proposition unique to Thrive
Your skills and qualifications should include:
- In-depth knowledge of and experience in optimising a growing workforce of 300+ employees
- A qualification in HR
- 3+ years of multi site experience
Experience with Employment Hero is preferred but not essential
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who shows true dedication for people and the Early Childhood Sector!
