Lewis Hotels, a rapidly expanding chain of twelve hotels, are currently seeking an experienced People and Culture Manager to establish its People and Culture Department.

In this pivotal role, you'll oversee all aspects of people management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management and compliance, ensuring the implementation of industry best practices.

You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the management team. You will be based in the vibrant area of Potts Point.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer employee records to meet organisational needs.

• Maintain and update digital personnel databases.

• Oversee onboarding processes, from offer letters to staff training.

• Update company policies, compliance manuals and employment contracts.

• Collaborate with payroll on employee schedules and absences.

• Oversee end-to-end recruitment, from job postings, candidate screening, interviews and onboarding.

• Have a solid understanding of employee and industrial relations to competently handle workplace matters.

• Lead performance reviews and manage performance evaluation systems.

• Work with the management team of each venue to promote employee growth and foster a positive culture.

• Handle the process of employer sponsored visas when required.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience in HR leadership or a similar role.

• Strong understanding of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.

• Expertise in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
