About the role
We are seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our exceptional team at The Woods Farm Jervis Bay, located in the stunning Jervis Bay region of New South Wales. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving the strategic growth of the business. This is a full-time role. Potential live-in capacity for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and manage all hotel departments including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to deliver outstanding guest service and optimise operational efficiency
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, occupancy, and profitability
• Oversee the hotel's budget, financial performance, and resource allocation
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused work culture
• Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities to expand the hotel's reach and services
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and brand standards
• Represent the hotel at industry events and build relationships with key stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager or in an equivalent senior leadership role within the hospitality industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations, driving financial performance, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and people management skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service
