About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Franchise network as an Assistant Restaurant General Manager in our popular restaurant in Lithgow, NSW. In this full-time role, you will work alongside the Restaurant General Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant, contributing to its continued success and growth.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, inventory control, and financial management
• Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience and drive business growth
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Providing exceptional customer service and managing customer inquiries and complaints
• Participating in the recruitment, training, and development of restaurant staff
• Analysing performance data and providing recommendations for improvement
• Representing the restaurant at industry events and networking opportunities

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar Assistant Restaurant General Manager or Restaurant Manager role
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
• Thorough understanding of the hospitality industry, including current trends and best practices
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience
