Customer Service & Trade Counter Assistant – Queanbeyan

- Location: Queanbeyan
- Monday to Friday - Permanent Job - 7.00am Start

What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing outstanding customer service at the trade counter, ensuring a friendly and professional experience.
- Managing the end-to-end counter service process, from order taking to fulfilment.
- Handling customer inquiries and quotes, either actioning them directly or coordinating with the team for a quick response.
- Building strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs and offering the best solutions.
- Proactively identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow sales.
- Collaborating with the team to drive branch success, contributing ideas and actively working towards business goals.
- Handling quotations, proposals, and pricing, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-ups.
- Resolving customer complaints and issues professionally and efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
- A people-person with strong communication skills who enjoys face-to-face interactions.
- A proactive and self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their role.
- Previous experience in a trade counter, sales, customer service, or a related industry (ideal but not essential).
- An organised and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- A problem solver with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver’s license.
