About the role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Customer Service, Stock Assistant & Pick & Pack to join our team at THE SYDNEY ART STORE Pty Ltd in Botany, NSW. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our retail operations.

What you'll be doing

• Providing outstanding customer service to our clients, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Assisting with stock management, including receiving, unpacking, and shelving new inventory
• Packing and dispatching online orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintaining the store's appearance and cleanliness to create an inviting environment
• Collaborating with the team to achieve store sales and customer service targets
• Handling cash and card transactions, and reconciling daily sales

What we're looking for

• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional shopping experience
• Prior experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the art/creative supplies industry
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
• Basic numeracy skills and experience with cash handling
