The Package: $92,645.28 – $102,375.52 gross per annum + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

In this role you will:

• Maintain an efficient and dependable approval system and building inspection service.
• Assess and issue building construction certificates, complying development certificates and occupation certificates.
• Inspect contestable building works and private swimming pools for compliance.
• Contribute to a positive health and safety culture within the council.

We are looking for someone who:

• Possesses and maintains Building Surveyor – restricted (class 1 & 10 buildings) accreditation under NSW Fair Trading
• Sound knowledge of NSW Local Government and Environmental Planning legislation.
• Demonstrates strong teamwork, time management, and organisational skills.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic records management.
