Our client is a well-established timber distribution business based in Mickleham. They are seeking a proactive and adaptable Administration Assistant to support their despatch office with overflow administrative tasks.
About the Role:
- Permanent part-time position – 3 days per week, 6-7 hours per day
- Flexible hours between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (school-friendly hours considered)
- Work in a brand-new modern office space
- Join a small, friendly team in a well-known, established business
- Support the team by managing various administrative tasks as they arise
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock receipting and cross-checking invoices
- General administration, data entry, and filing
- Customer service and handling phone inquiries
- Assisting with despatch processes, liaising with drivers and warehouse staff
- Using MS Office (Excel proficiency essential) for daily tasks
- Other admin tasks as they come to hand
About You:
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and helpful phone manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and efficiency in admin tasks
- Ability to work autonomously and within a small, close-knit team
- Experience in an administrative role, particularly in a warehouse or despatch setting, is advantageous
