About the Role
Motive Group Pty Ltd is seeking a part-time Accounts, Office & Administration Professional with Sales experience to join our team in Hastings, VIC. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrative and accounting professional who is ready for a challenge, eager to expand their future with commissions on sales, and is looking to transition into a full-time position as our business grows. You'll leverage your skills in office management, accounting, and sales support, all within the dynamic power systems industry, specifically diesel generator service and repairs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, file management, and handling inquiries
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks such as invoicing, reconciliations, and processing payments
- Support the sales team by processing orders, generating quotes, and following up on customer inquiries
- Manage office supplies, coordinate schedules, and ensure the smooth running of our office
- Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to achieve business objectives
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative or accounting role, preferably within the power systems, diesel generator service, or energy industry
- Direct experience in the Diesel Generator and Power Systems industry is a must
- Sales support experience is highly desirable
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Industry knowledge in power systems or diesel generator service and repairs is crucial
- A passion for challenges and a drive to grow, with a keen interest in earning commissions on sales
- Experience in advertising and marketing is also highly desirable.
