About the role

Imagine having full control over 2 seperate bars in Braesides hottest new Italian restaurant as a Bar Manager. You'll be responsible for overseeing the bar operations and leading your team of bartenders to success! Get to know your regulars in this family owned business and build rapport with our fun and easy going clientele.

We are re building after a devastating fire in 2024 and are finally coming back much bigger, much better and much stronger. Be part of the grand re opening team and be apart of our success.

What you'll be doing

  • Staff management: Train, hire and develop the team
  • Inventory control: oversee the ordering and management of beverages and supplies, maintain optimal stock levels, and minimise waste.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure a welcoming atmosphere, promptly address customer concerns, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor sales and expenses, and implement strategies to boost profitability.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Enforce health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations, ensuring both staff and customer safety.
  • Ensure drink quality, presentation, and service meet venue standards.
  • Maintain bar equipment and ensure cleanliness and organisation.
  • Enforce team expectations on punctuality, dress code, and behaviour.

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years experience working as a Bar Manager in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Ability to deal with high number of customer patronage whilst ensuring prompt drink delivery to customers is maintained
  • Commitment to working late nights and weekends
  • Strong knowledge of a wide range of spirits, Italian & Australian wines, beers and cocktails
  • Excellent time management and training skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Someone mature with business accument who sees hospitality as a long term career
