About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, test, inspection and repair activities of the Truscreen range of products and accessories. Key duties include:

• In-house electro-optical device and accessories Production: accurate manufacturing, assembly and testing in accordance with manufacturing work instructions
• Conduct manufacturing processes in accordance with the manufacturing schedule
• Comply with instructions and procedures required to operate the manufacturing systems / equipment
• Maintain manufacturing process equipment, jigs, and fixtures in accordance to maintenance requirements
• Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing issues and manufacturing concessions
• Actively participate in process improvement / development activities
• Support the activities related to Service and Repair of devices in the field (this includes troubleshooting, recalibration, verification testing and repackaging)

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with medical device manufacture, use of epoxies, PCBs, optical fibres and equipment
• Ideally Bachelor degree, preferably having a strong optics/electronic/mechanical engineering background
• At least 3 years experience in the medical device industry, ideally in a similar role preferred
• Excellent eye-hand coordination
• Confident problem solver with good troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work unsupervised, prioritise tasks and multi-tasking
• Eligible for fulltime employment in Australia
• Written and verbal communication skills in both English & Mandarin preferred
