About the role

As the Production Manager for Aluming Windows and Doors, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the manufacturing plant. This full-time, on-site role in Rydalmere, NSW is integral to ensuring the company's aluminium windows and doors are produced to the highest quality standards, on time, and within budget.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the daily operations of the production department, including planning, scheduling, and delegating tasks to manufacturing teams
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement and optimize production processes
• Ensure all production targets and key performance indicators are met or exceeded
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, and liaise with the procurement team to support seamless operations
• Identify and resolve any bottlenecks or issues impacting production, taking corrective action as needed
• Foster a safe, collaborative, and high-performing work environment for the production team
• Provide regular updates to senior management on production performance and identify opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

• Must be fluent in Mandarin and Proficiency in office software and AutoCAD
• Extensive experience in a production management role, ideally within the aluminium windows & doors manufacturing, or building industry
• In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and resource management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to effectively address production challenges
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
• Qualifications in Production/Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field are highly desirable
• Must be fluent in Mandarin and Proficiency in office software and AutoCAD
