About the Role:

As a Production Technician at Reach, you will report to the Production Manager and work alongside specialised engineers and technicians. Our products consist of complex electro-mechanical assemblies with highly specified tolerances. We provide supervised training for the first 3 months to ensure you are well-prepared for the role.

What We’re Looking For:

- High attention to detail when working with complex and precise mechanical & electrical assemblies.

- Ability to meticulously follow assembly processes step-by-step.

- Technology enthusiast.

- Creative mindset with the ability to adapt existing solutions to new situations.

- Proficiency in using precise measuring tools and understanding technical drawings.

- Excellent organizational skills and a positive “can do” attitude with a willingness to do what is required to get the job done.

- A safety and quality first mindset.

- Experience in electromechanical manufacturing is highly desirable.

- Electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

- Hands-on assembly of electro-mechanical assemblies according to work instructions.

- Quality inspection and measurement of parts against drawings.

- Soldering and cable assembly.

- Troubleshooting and fault-finding of sub-assemblies and products.

- Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

- Suggesting new ideas to improve production line efficiency.

- Problem-solving issues that arise on the production line.

- Ensuring project timelines are met.

- Performing testing and validation of final products.
