Randstad is proud to partner with a well known and established company to recruit a Senior Building Surveyor to join their Hobart team.

About the company
For over 25 years they have been undertaking residential and commercial building surveying throughout Tasmania and across Australia.

About the role
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will join a tenured and knowledgeable team, where you will be planning and managing complex large scale projects. This will include coordinating and the preparation of estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, client reports and monitoring project progress, project scheduling/resourcing, and meeting deadlines and budgets.

You will also be required to carry out examination of applications for building permits with respect to the construction of new buildings, alterations, repairs and change of occupancy in existing buildings.

About you
This role will be ideal for those looking to take the next step in their career and will have a minimum of 10 years demonstrated Building Surveying experience.

You will also have experience in mentoring and coaching junior staff and leading teams to achieve expected outcomes.

An attractive salary, including a company will be offered to the successful candidate, as well as relocation assistance, should you be moving to Hobart from Interstate.

• Hold a Bachelor Degree in Building Surveying
• Hold an Australian Building Surveying registration
• Hold strong attention to detail skills
• Have strong verbal and written skills
