About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 3 Senior Physiotherapist to join our large, vibrant, and supportive team. This senior position plays a key leadership role within the Allied Health team and involves the provision of advanced clinical services, primarily within our Sub-acute Ambulatory Care Services, specifically within our non-admitted service.

You will contribute to clinical excellence, foster team development, and support a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Our dynamic Physiotherapy team includes:

• 24 Physiotherapists
• 9 Allied Health Assistants
• 2 Exercise Physiologists

Position overview

• Employment Type: Part time (32 hours per fortnight), Fixed term Parental Leave cover
• Commencing January 2026 until October 2026
• Location: Warrnambool Campus
• Classification: Physiotherapist Grade 3
• Salary Range: $104,135.20 - $118,981.20 pro rata, plus superannuation

What you bring

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to support management and work independently.
• Minimum seven years' experience, ideally with a relevant postgraduate qualification.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and ability to apply evidence-based assessment and treatment.
• Understanding of the role within Allied Health and the broader SWH context.
• Experience in supervision, mentoring, and education of staff and students.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, client-centred care, and best practice.
• Current Driver's Licence and General Registration with AHPRA.
