About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Briefs and Reports - Draft and prepare high-quality written materials to support decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
  • Audit Management - Ensure robust internal controls, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination with external auditors.
  • Oversight of budget management, resource management, recruitment & onboarding and contract management undertaken by Operations team.
  • Business Operations - Oversee daily operations to maintain seamless and efficient processes.
  • Quality Assurance - Uphold high standards for all outputs, including correspondence, media releases, and documentation.
  • Stakeholder Communication - Manage correspondence and media relations, ensuring clear, consistent, and professional messaging.

Leadership and Collaboration Expectations:

This role requires strong leadership to inspire and guide teams, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. The Operations Manager must demonstrate exceptional collaborative skills, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, media representatives, contractors, and public service professionals. Effective communication, financial acumen, and a strategic mindset are essential to navigate the complexities of IT programs and deliver results in a dynamic public sector environment.

By fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork, the Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and achieving program success.
