About the Role

As the RTO Compliance & Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading compliance, quality assurance, and operational excellence within a well-established and values-driven Registered Training Organisation.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll ensure training programs are delivered to the highest standards, while contributing to a mission centred on community impact, cultural connection, and innovative education pathways.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the maintenance of RTO registration and ensure full compliance with the VET Quality Framework and funding agreements.

Oversee training and assessment strategies, resource development, and validation processes.

Monitor and enhance quality systems across all RTO operations, ensuring risks are identified and addressed.

Support the CEO in developing operational plans, budgets, and new training IP.

Provide effective leadership within the training team, fostering collaboration and cultural safety.

Manage student records, learning management systems, and AVETMISS reporting.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Performance Outcomes

Continuation of the organisation’s RTO registration and compliance standing.

Delivery of high-quality vocational training programs that meet regulatory standards.

Strengthened stakeholder engagement and contribution to organisational growth and reputation.

Effective leadership that supports team development and cultural alignment.

Qualifications & Experience

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).

Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Education, Training Management, Quality/Compliance).

Demonstrated experience in RTO compliance, quality systems, or training operations leadership.

Auditing or Quality Assurance knowledge highly regarded.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.

Proficiency in Student & Learner Management Systems and Microsoft 365.

Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
