Responsibilities
- Accurately process supplier invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare and process payments via EFT, BPAY, or cheque, ensuring compliance with payment terms
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions in internal systems
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounts payable reconciliations
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice, purchase order, or payment queries
- Support vendor onboarding, including credit checks, payment setup, and updating records
- Assist with accounts reporting, including aged payables and cash flow forecasts
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial controls, and company procedures
- Provide support to the wider finance team as required
About YOU
- 2+ years' experience in Accounts Payable or a finance/administration role
- Experience with ERP systems: Payapps and/or MS Business Central (MS Dynamics 365) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage supplier relationships professionally and resolve issues proactively
- Confidence in reconciling complex accounts and handling high volumes
- MUST be based in Melbourne with full, unrestricted Australian working rights (Australian/NZ Citizen, PR, or valid visa)
