Overview of role:
The Employee Experience Officer plays a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle within Coliban Water’s People & Capability team. This hands-on role leads end-to-end recruitment and onboarding to ensure a seamless candidate experience, while also partnering with P&C Business Partners to deliver impactful learning and development initiatives. The Officer maintains HR systems and data accuracy, drives process improvements, and champions initiatives that enhance engagement, capability, and the overall employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Employee Experience Officer, you’ll be accountable for:
- Partner with hiring managers to lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including job design, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, selection, employment offers and onboarding
- Partner with P&C Business Partners to design, deliver, and evaluate learning and development initiatives, manage the LMS, and drive continuous capability growth across the organisation.
- Enhance the employee experience by improving HR processes, supporting inclusive and engaging lifecycle initiatives, promoting wellbeing, and contributing to effective internal communication.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and compliance.
About you:
- Hands-on experience in a Human Resources Officer role or similar.
- Proven skills in recruitment and/or learning and development activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
- Sound understanding of HR processes, systems, and compliance requirements.
- Desirable: Certificate IV or Degree in Business/Commerce with a focus on Human Resources.

Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 3 $74,200 – $90,097 + Superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience. This role is a Fulltime 2 year Fixed term position.

Coliban Water was established on July 1, 1992 under the Water Act 1989 as a Regional Urban Water Authority.
Coliban Region Water Authority became the Coliban Region Water Corporation on July 1, 2007.
The Corporation is responsible to the Minister for Water, the Hon Lisa Neville MP, and our shareholder is the Victorian Government.
We are one of the larger Victorian Regional urban water corporations.
We manage, maintain and operate 35 reservoirs and water storage basins across North-Central Victoria and provide water and wastewater services to rural and urban customers across an area of 16,550 sqkm.
