Senior Estimator – Modular Construction Company

Crestmead (Brisbane) or Coolum, QLD | Full-Time | Target Salary: $150k-$180k depending on experience. Happy to consider a junior Estimator.

The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Estimator to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates across civil site works, inground services, podium slabs, and multi-residential projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong civil and structural experience who enjoys collaborating in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing high-value, accurate estimates for civil, site, and modular building projects

Analysing drawings, specifications, and site conditions to determine scope and costs

Managing subcontractor pricing, trade packages, and cost proposals

Using estimating software (CostX experience a plus, but not essential)

Working closely with the project management and leadership teams to deliver tenders on time

Providing input on cost efficiencies and value-engineering opportunities

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Senior Estimator (Tier 1/2 or modular background highly regarded)

Strong knowledge of civil site works, inground services, podium slabs, and multi-residential builds

Proficient with Excel and general estimating software systems

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills

Ability to work full-time from our Crestmead (preferred) or Coolum offices — no remote work
