Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tenders from concept through to contract

Analyse scope of works and assess costs for labour, plant, subcontractors, and materials

Develop programs, BOQ’s and budgets across project lifecycles

Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing

Monitor budgets and costs, ensuring projects stay on time and on budget

Implement and improve estimating and cost management systems

Skills & Experience

Degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)

Proven success in tendering and securing commercial projects up to $30M

Strong cost management and financial control skills

Ability to manage multiple tenders without compromising details or accuracy

Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal

Confident working independently and collaboratively with architects, engineers, and consultants

4+ years’ experience in estimating for a Tier 1–3 head contractor
