As the Building Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead a small team to deliver preventative and reactive maintenance, manage contractors, and support minor and major projects across modern, well-maintained facilities. The Role:

• Lead, mentor and manage the Maintenance Team to deliver high-quality maintenance outcomes;
• Plan, coordinate and oversee preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple buildings and facilities;
• Manage contractors and suppliers across services including cleaning, grounds, security and catering;
• Provide logistical and operational support for school activities, events and projects;
• Contribute building, construction and asset management expertise to minor and major projects; and
• Managing a busy live-site, this role is hands on and will offer variety day to day.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Trade or tertiary qualifications in building, construction or related fields are an essential requirement;
• Proven experience in building or maintenance management;
• Leadership experience as a manager, foreman or equivalent, with the ability to motivate and develop a small team;
• Experience working in a multi-building, campus or school/university environment is highly desirable; and
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide a team and interact with everyone from suppliers to students.

As this role is on a school campus, the successful candidate will be required to complete a ‘Working with Children Check’
