About my client:
My client is a family-owned business with over 20 years’ experience delivering high-quality landscape construction across Sydney and Regional NSW. They specialise in end-to-end landscaping solutions for councils, builders, and commercial developers — from hard and soft landscaping to civil and streetscape works. Their reputation is built on quality, integrity and strong client relationships.
The Opportunity
I am recruiting a Senior Estimator to join their growing team. You will play a key role in leading tender submissions and driving the success of their commercial landscape projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full estimating process for landscape construction tenders and quotes
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals across labour, materials, and subcontractors
- Review drawings, conduct site visits, and assess project risks
- Build and maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships
- Liaise with project and operations teams to ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met
- Mentor junior estimating staff and contribute to process improvement
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in estimating within landscape or civil construction
- Strong knowledge of hard & soft landscaping, external works, and cost structure
- Excellent attention to detail, commercial acumen, and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Excel and estimating/take-off software
- Tertiary qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred
