The Role

As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in pricing and tendering projects ranging from $250K to $5M+. Working closely with the Director, Project Managers, and Internal Designers, you’ll ensure all estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunities.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Value-engineer where possible to optimise project margins.
• Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure seamless handovers from estimating to delivery.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants.

About You

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience as an Estimator in the commercial construction or fit-out/refurb sector.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and subcontractor pricing.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g Buildsoft, CostX, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• A proactive and team-oriented approach.
