A civil and remedial and maintenance head contractor working across Sydney and regional NSW.

The work consists of residential, commercial, rail and infrastructure employing 50 staff with a strategy to expand interstate and continue to grow.

The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing head contractor based in South West Sydney pricing remedial, repair, maintenance, and renovations projects across Sydney.

Your responsibilities will align with your previous experience in the following key areas:

• Initial assessment of incoming tender documents and estimating on selected projects with varying values
• Pricing projects using first estimating principles
• Obtaining quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities/cost plan for internal review
• Building strong relationships with trades and suppliers
• Stakeholder liaison and engagement with clients during tender stages
• Leading and mentoring a small team of estimators

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
• Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying, Estimating or Engineering
• Experience with Buildsoft, Cubit and Procore
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
