Facilities & Projects Coordinator
Location: Parramatta, NSW
Rate: $600.47 – $630.50 per day + Super
Duration: 6-month contract (with potential extension)
Start Date: 17 November 2025 (pending checks)
Hours: Full-time, 8 hrs/day – 40 hrs/week
About the Role
Join WaterNSW’s Property and Fleet team within the Finance, Legal & Risk portfolio as a Facilities & Projects Coordinator. In this key support role, you’ll coordinate maintenance activities, manage service requests, and assist with property and asset projects to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations across our facilities network.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, compliance inspections and safety checks.
- Support administration of facilities service contracts and monitor vendor performance.
- Maintain asset registers, manage repairs, replacements and disposals.
- Assist with procurement, budgets and project tracking.
- Support delivery of minor property projects, fit-outs and relocations.
- Promote safety and uphold WaterNSW values in every task.
About You
You’re a proactive facilities professional with strong coordination and communication skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple priorities with accuracy and initiative.
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities, property or related field.
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Demonstrated experience in facilities management and property projects.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements (Building Code of Australia).
- Strong stakeholder engagement, organisation and reporting skills.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a government or corporate environment.
