High Tide Cafe Semaphore is seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the delivery of latest trends, modern cafe, seasonal, flavourful and exciting food to our customers. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

Developing and executing creative, high-quality menus that showcase your culinary expertise, seasonal items and Semaphore favourites

Managing and leading kitchen crew, whilst delivering high volume

Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards

Monitoring food costs and inventory to optimise operational efficiency

Collaborating with the management team to drive continuous improvement and innovation

Maintaining a positive and enjoyable work environment

What we're looking for

Extensive experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment

Strong knowledge of trends and the local market

Excellent culinary skills, with a flair for creating visually appealing and delicious dishes

Proven leadership and team management abilities

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

A flexible and adaptable approach to work
