We’re looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic Socials and Marketing Specialist to join our growing hospitality group!

In this autonomous role, you’ll run the socials and marketing end to end the bringing fun, fresh and memorable campaigns to life across Lil Darlin at two vibrant venues: Li’l Darlin Surry Hills and Li’l Darlin Crows Nest. You’ll be involved in everything from social media and content creation to event support and print materials. You must have experience in food photography and reels, be able to create content on the spot and under pressure and plan well using a content scheduler.

Location: On-site at Surry Hills & Crows Nest and partially hybrid.

Employment Type: Part-time or Full-time available. Start 2-4 weeks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Manage and grow our social media presence across Instagram, Facebook & TikTok for both venues (@lildarlinbar & @lildarlincrowsnest).

Boosting social media ads via meta ads/meta business suite platform.

Create engaging content for our social media

Create eye-catching promotional materials including flyers, menus and signage

Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives and activations across both venues

Assist in planning and delivering in-venue marketing events and functions

Organise marketing assets, briefs and content calendars to keep us running smoothly

Organise events & functions assets.

Design and send email campaigns (EDMs) that drive bookings.

Ensure brand consistency across all touch points — digital, print, social, and events

Li’l Darlin is one of the brands of the group - namely cocktail bars/restaurants with venues in Surry Hills (est. 12 years) and Crows Nest (opened 2024). We’re known for our iconic cocktails (think fairy floss martinis), fun bottomless brunches and cocktail classes, and unforgettable group celebrations. What We’re Looking For:

A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field

2+ years’ experience in a marketing or social media role.

Proficiency in writing copy, posting, scheduling content and boosting ads via Meta

Proficiency in Graphic Design in Adobe Suite and Canva.

A strong communicator who’s organised, creative and full of initiative

Bonus points if you’ve worked in hospitality or know the industry

A go-getter attitude with the ability to manage your time and juggle priorities
