About the role

We have an exciting opportunity available for a dynamic individual to join our vibrant and energetic Groups Reservations team at our Head Office. This is a 12 months maternity cover role with the possibility of extending beyond the initial period. Ideally, the right candidate will be available to begin early December 2025.

You will be located in our state-of-the-art centralised Contact Centre at our head office on Kent St, in the heart of Sydney CBD, reporting into the Group Reservations Manager. This position is fully on-site, office-based. Please note, there are no work-from-home or hybrid options available.

Every day you can expect to:

Exhibit high sales performance by maximising all sales leads through closing the sale, upselling and cross-selling at every opportunity.

Creating manual invoices through excel which involves having a good understanding of general accounting and finance.

Display effective communication across multiple departments to ensure seamless check in and check out of group reservations.

Respond to emails relating to general product information and reservations.

Exhibit strong attention to detail, maintaining a consistent high quality of work.

Multi-task & maintain a high quantity of output in a busy environment.

About you:

Experience in reservations, ideally handling group reservations with a minimum of ten rooms.

Confidence in using Microsoft Office systems such as Excel.

Reliability and flexibility as required to meet business trends and demands.

Impeccable presentation with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience using a property management system.

Ability to multi-task as well as work under pressure.

Warm and friendly attitude and attention to detail.
