About the role

Sylvan Australia Pty. Ltd' is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Supervisor to join our team in Londonderry, NSW. As a Dispatch Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and timely distribution of our products. This full-time position is integral to the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain functions.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate and supervise the dispatch team, ensuring all orders are processed, packed and dispatched on time

Monitor and optimise the workflow and performance of the dispatch area to maximise productivity and efficiency

Liaise with the sales, warehouse and transportation teams to ensure seamless product delivery

Maintain accurate inventory records and identify opportunities for improvement

Provide training and support to dispatch staff, fostering a positive team culture

Implement and maintain safety and quality protocols within the dispatch area

Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the dispatch process

Liaise with other production team members

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Dispatch Supervisor or in a similar logistics/supply chain role

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks

Strong leadership and people management skills to effectively coordinate and motivate a team

Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and other relevant software

Thorough understanding of inventory control, shipping procedures and transportation logistics

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

Holding a current NSW forklift License
