The Role

We're seeking a capable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our close-knit Finance team on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of end-to-end accounts payable functions while supporting other transactional finance tasks as required.

This role would suit someone who enjoys accuracy and working in a supportive environment with flexible hours.

This position offers 15-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate school hours.

Key Responsibilities

· Process supplier invoices, credit notes and payments in accordance with company policy

· Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records

· Assist with the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payment runs

· Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth approvals

· Assist with month-end accruals, reporting and other support as needed

About You

· Proven experience in accounts payable, ideally within a small-to-medium business

· Minimum of 3+ years of accounts payable experience required

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

· Sound knowledge of accounting principles and invoice-matching processes

· Competence with accounting or ERP systems (experience with Odoo is advantageous)

· Proficiency in Excel and other MS standard business software

· A proactive, organised and reliable work ethic

· Australian work rights are required for this position
