About The role
We are seeking a highly organised and values-driven Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is passionate about making a difference, and has a strong background in accounts payable and financial operations.
You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting financial reporting and audits. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our services and the wellbeing of those we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and pay invoices accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with supplier terms.
- Maintain and manage preferred supplier lists and associated records.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial and management reports.
- Perform GST compliance and monthly reporting.
- Complete monthly expense accruals and account reconciliations.
- Support interim and end-of-year financial audits.
- Contribute to quarterly and annual aged care reporting for Home Care Packages.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and ethical practice.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable and invoice processing.
- Strong understanding of financial systems and electronic bank transfers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience leading or mentoring a small team is desirable.
