What You’ll Be Doing
- Assess and report on development and subdivision applications
- Provide expert planning advice to stakeholders
- Mentor and supervise Planning Officers
- Represent the City at SAT, DAP, and external forums
- Lead pre-lodgement meetings and stakeholder engagement
- Oversee compliance investigations and site inspections
- Prepare reports for Council and external authorities
- Support process improvement and policy development

Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a planning professional with a passion for community impact. You’ll ideally bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Urban & Regional Planning (or related)
- Strong knowledge of WA planning legislation and processes
- Proven decision-making and judgement skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Experience in customer service within a regulatory environment
- Ability to supervise, mentor, and manage performance
