Senior Program Manager - Transition Program

We're partnered with a leading Australian insurance organisation that's delivering a major transformation program focused on modernising its digital platforms and improving the experience for its business partners and clients.

They're now looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead the Partner Portal Transition Program - a key initiative that will simplify processes, enhance digital capability, and deliver lasting operational change.

The Role

You'll be responsible for overseeing the transition to a new partner-facing platform, managing multiple workstreams, and ensuring delivery aligns to the organisation's strategic goals. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across business and technology, lead a cross-functional program team, and manage external delivery partners to ensure smooth, effective execution.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of the Partner Portal Transition Program.
  
• Oversee budgets, timelines, risks, and overall delivery quality.
  
• Manage relationships with senior business leaders, vendors, and delivery partners.
  
• Chair program forums and contribute to governance reporting.
  
• Champion proactive risk and issue management.
  
• Coach and guide the delivery team to drive capability uplift.
  
• Ensure a successful transition and handover to business-as-usual operations.
  

About You

You're a seasoned Program Manager with experience delivering large-scale, complex transformation programs (budgets $5M+). You bring strong stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and delivery oversight skills, with a solid understanding of both business and technology impacts.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience leading transition programs in a B2B environment
  
• Background managing external technology vendors across multiple streams.
  
• Proven experience working with executive sponsors and business leaders.
  
• Strong understanding of organisational change and transformation delivery.
  
• Tertiary qualifications in business, technology, or project management.
  
• Project/program management certification (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) - nice to have, not essential.
