PMO Manager - Data Program
6 month initial contract | Sydney (Hybrid)
$800-$850 per day + super

We are seeking a PMO Manager to join a large-scale Data Program. This role will suit either:

• An experienced PMO Manager with 5+ years in a leadership role, or
• A Senior PMO Analyst with 8 years' experience who is ready to step into management.

You will oversee the program's governance, reporting, and controls while managing a team of two Senior Analysts. The role is central to ensuring program transparency, risk control, and executive-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the PMO function across a high-profile data transformation program.
• Manage and mentor a team of two Senior Analysts.
• Maintain and oversee RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies).
• Deliver high-quality program reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Conduct QA on program and project artefacts, ensuring alignment with standards.
• Partner with Program and Project Managers to maintain program alignment and outcomes.
• Use Jira to manage program reporting, dashboards, and visibility.
• Drive process improvements across PMO practices.

What We're Looking For:

• 5 years' experience as a PMO Manager, or 8 years as a Senior PMO Analyst looking to step up.
• Strong background in RAID, reporting, governance, and QA.
• Proven experience with Jira for reporting and program tracking.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor a small team.
• High attention to detail and ability to produce polished reporting for executive stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
