About the role
The Senior Advisor, Student Administration is responsible for supervising the provision of quality advice to current students at all levels of study. You will be a liaison point for schools and other business units and will be responsible for building and maintaining stakeholder networks, to ensure advice and support for students is aligned with current course study requirements.
You will:
- facilitate coaching and training to the Student Administration Officers on University policies, procedures and services;
- monitor and ensure adherence to policies, procedures and business processes;
- ensure that student enquiry services are delivered in accordance with service protocols, and that best practice customer service standards are adhered to;
- act as liaison point for schools and other business units, providing a contact point for knowledge management and proactive support; and
- provide professional development and training support to Student Administration Officers.
About you
Reporting to the Coordinator, Student Administration you will build and maintain stakeholder networks, that ensures advice and support provided to students while also taking responsibility for analysing and solving a range of escalated problems relating to student enquiries which requires the interpretation and application of relevant policies, procedures and processes.
You will possess:
- planning, organisational and prioritisation skills;
- information gathering and analytical skills;
- attention to detail together with the ability to monitor quality and adherence to regulatory requirements;
- commitment to providing quality customer service, in a variety of methods; and
- demonstrated experience in supervising and supporting staff in a high volume, fast paced environment.
