The Role

We’re looking for a Building Designer with strong technical skills and an innovative mindset to join our team. You’ll work across the full project lifecycle—from concept through to construction—collaborating closely with development, planning, engineering and certification to ensure every project achieves the right balance of design and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to concept and architectural design for residential and small commercial projects.

Prepare DA/CDC drawings and documentation to ensure feasibility and compliance.

Coordinate with certifiers, councils and consultant teams.

Assist with Development Applications (DA) and Complying Development Certificates (CDC) submissions.

Support design development and construction documentation, resolving technical details.

Requirements

Qualification in Building Design or Architecture (TAFE / Bachelor of Architecture / Building Design or equivalent).

Solid understanding of Australian codes and planning frameworks (BCA/NCC/SEPP).

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.

1–3 years’ local experience (residential or small-scale development preferred).

Excellent bilingual communication skills (English & Chinese) for both verbal and written documentation.

Strong collaboration, attention to detail and execution.
