Graphic Designer & Production Assistant

Part-Time | 2–3 Days per Week | Hybrid Role (Geelong + Work from Home)

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer and Production Assistant to join our award-winning team — someone who’s confident in both print and digital design and loves collaborating with clients and colleagues alike. A bonus if you could also manage some of our social media accounts.

🖋️ About the Role

You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of high-quality publications including
Geelong + Surf Coast Living, Ballarat + Central Highlands Living, Know It All, Geelong Wedding, Melbourne Wedding, and Country Wedding.

Working closely with our Production Manager, Editor, and Sales team, you’ll design engaging layouts, advertisements, marketing collateral, and digital content that bring brands and stories to life.

Your responsibilities will include:

Designing magazine layouts, advertisements, and marketing materials for print and digital platforms.

Assisting with final artwork preparation and proofing for print production.

Liaising directly with clients to coordinate advertising material and approvals.

Supporting social media content creation and scheduling.

Assisting with production schedules, page planning, and content management.

Maintaining consistent brand quality across all design work.

💡 About You

We’re seeking a creative all-rounder who’s professional, organised, and passionate about design.

You’ll bring:

A qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or similar.

Experience in design, publishing, or production (agency, in-house, or freelance).

Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

A good understanding of print processes and preparing artwork for print.

Strong attention to detail, layout, colour, and typography.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

Ideally located within the Greater Geelong region.
