About Us:

Salt House is a modern, special facility licensed venue designed specifically for the tropical climate we enjoy. Our venue contains a 180 pax restaurant featuring a wood fired Argentinian grill, a private dining room for up to 20 guests, 30 pax standalone pizzeria, 2 large cocktail bars with daybeds and plenty of open seating areas leading to a large grassed area. This allows us to accommodate many different kinds of events and functions from large weddings to our annual Food & Wine Festival.

We cater to a broad and varied demographic taking great pride in holding a solid reputation for friendly professional service. We are a passionate supporter of live music and entertainment with a weekly program of musicians and DJs.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and energetic Restaurant Supervisor to help lead our team in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your job tasks and responsibilities will be but not limited to:

• Assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing operations

• Exceptional customer service to all guests

• Handling customer inquiries, complaints and feedback

• Maintaining quality assurance

• Recruitment, training and supervision of team

• Shift management

• Overseeing POS and cashier functions

• Other duties as assigned

About you:

• Minimum 2 years hospitality experience

• Relevant qualifications minimum Certificate IV

• Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment

• Strong leadership skills

• Excellent time management skills

• Excellent knowledge of food and safety standards

• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service and products

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Ability to communicate effectively in a busy environment

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and public holidays

• Permanent working rights in Australia or the ability to work long term
