About the role

We are looking for an exceptional Assistant Restaurant Manager/Restaurant Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Gusto Riverfront Restaurant in Noosaville, QLD. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our waterfront restaurant, delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all front-of-house and service operations

Coordinate and supervise the wait staff to ensure prompt and attentive customer service

Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and table turns to optimise restaurant capacity

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain stock levels

Provide training and development opportunities for the service team

Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations

Support the Restaurant Manager in driving continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar Assistant Manager or Restaurant Supervisory role

Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

Proficient in inventory management and cost control

Thorough understanding of food and beverage operations and industry best practices

Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
