The Opportunity:
Join a leading private lender renowned for delivering tailored lending and investment solutions across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Their offering spans a range of specialised private loans, including construction, bridging, and mezzanine finance.

I’m seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join this high-performing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for originating and structuring new transactions, utilising your strong network across the broker and property development sectors to bring quality, high-value opportunities to the fund.

The Role:

• Hunt and identify new transactions, and structure deals to meet funding requirements.
• Utilise and expand your network of brokers and property developers to bring quality deals to the fund.
• Operate within a sales-driven environment, using your BDM experience to close deals.
• Competently assess and structure deals involving first mortgages, bridging loans, construction loans, second mortgages, and land loans.
• Work on deals within the SME sector, bridging loans, residual stock, construction, and land loans up to $15 million.

About You:

• Demonstrable experience in commercial finance, particularly in structuring and funding deals.
• A deep understanding of the property development and finance industry, with a proven track record of leveraging relationships to close deals.
• Strong sales skills, with the ability to identify, pitch, and close high-value transactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial structures for clients.
• A self-starter who can work independently, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
