Our client is one of the most professional strata management companies in Sydney’s Northern Suburbs. As a team passionate about strata management and dedicated to providing outstanding service, they are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting & Administration Officer to support their dynamic team.
About you
The ideal candidate is well-organised, a strong team player, and capable of managing both financial and administrative tasks with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and assist in the preparation of financial statements
Manage trust accounts and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Perform general office administration and maintain organised records
Liaise professionally with clients, owners, and team members
Provide ad-hoc support to the team as required
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping and office administration
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Knowledge of trust account management
Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero or MYOB
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team approach
Professional, customer-focused, and reliable
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
