About Bendooley Estate

Bendooley Estate is a family owned property in the heart of the Southern Highlands, renowned for our picturesque gardens, historic buildings, excellent restaurant and cellar door, exceptional catering including our retail outlet in Bowral, great book shop and boutique accommodation. As we expand our offerings to include additional accommodation and conferencing facilities in the new year we are seeking a talented Marketing/ Sales Co-ordinator to join our team and help us share our story with new audiences.

About the Role

This is a newly created position reporting to our owner whilst working closely with our external marketing consultant to bring our sales and marketing strategy to life. You'll be the driving force behind our day-to-day sales and marketing activities, ensuring our brand reaches and resonates audiences across multiple channels.

This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional who thrives on variety, loves the hospitality sector, and wants to make a tangible impact on a growing business. The position is full time however we will, for the right applicant, consider it on a part time basis.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage and maintain Bendooley Estate's website, ensuring content is current, compelling, and optimised for search engines

● Create and schedule engaging social media content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, showcasing weddings, events, accommodation and the upcoming conferencing facilities

● Write compelling copy for digital platforms, email campaigns, blogs, and promotional materials

● Execute marketing campaigns as outlined in the strategic marketing plan

● Coordinate email marketing campaigns using relevant platforms, managing subscriber lists and analysing performance metrics

● Maintain and update the marketing calendar, ensuring all activities align with peak booking periods and business objectives

● Track and report on marketing KPIs including website traffic, social media engagement, lead generation and conversion rates

● Manage the sales enquiry process, including responding to initial enquiries, preparing detailed proposals, contracts and quotes, following up with leads and secure bookings

● Liaise with internal teams to ensure event requirements are communicated and co-ordinated effectively

● Manage the production of printed materials including brochures, signage, and promotional items

About You

● Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a sales/marketing role, preferably within hospitality

● Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content

● Experience with paid social media advertising and Google Ads

● Strong copywriting skills with excellent attention to detail

● Proficiency in website content management systems (e.g., WordPress)

● Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Klaviyo)

● Understanding of CRM systems

● Competency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for basic graphic design

● Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

● Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative

● Problem solving skills and the ability to think creatively to meet guest needs

● Genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences
