Noah’s on the Beach – one of Newcastle’s premier oceanfront venues – is seeking a dynamic and experienced Conference and Events Operations Co-Ordinator to oversee the delivery of unforgettable events with excellence and efficiency.
About the Role:
As the Conference and Events Operations Co-Ordinator, you will play a key role in the execution of weddings, conferences, and private events. You’ll be responsible for leading the front-of-house functions team, ensuring seamless coordination, outstanding customer service, and a premium guest experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the daily operations of functions and events
Liaise with event coordinators, kitchen teams, and clients to ensure event requirements are met
Lead and train front-of-house staff, ensuring service excellence and professionalism
Set up function spaces in line with floorplans and event schedules
Oversee service during events, including food and beverage delivery and guest management
Troubleshoot and resolve any on-the-day event issues efficiently
Maintain venue standards in cleanliness, presentation, and safety
About You:
Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within events, hospitality, or hotels
A strong leader with the ability to motivate and manage a team under pressure
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
RSA Certificate (essential)
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
