About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Little Pioneers Early Learning Centre as an Assistant Director and Room Leader for a 27 place centre in Forster NSW 2428. In this fulltime role, you will play a key part in supporting the Centre Director in the overall operations and management of the centre, as well as leading a dedicated team of early childhood educators in providing high-quality care and education to the children in your care.

This role has a strong opportunities to train and upskill into a director position within 2-5 years.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Centre Director in the overall management and operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies

Lead a team of early childhood educators in the delivery of learning programs that support the holistic development of children

Mentor and coach team members to continuously improve their practice

Foster positive relationships with children, families and the local community

Maintain accurate records and contribute to the centre's continuous improvement

Promote a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for all children

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education

Experience in a similar leadership role within ECEC is preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and the team

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

A deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible care and learning experiences for children
