The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Business Manager to oversee daily operations and support the smooth running of our business. You’ll work closely with the directors and project team to manage finance, HR, compliance, and administration functions.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and support accounts payable and receivable processes
Manage and process payroll
Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting
Ensure all staff, subcontractor, and business insurance requirements are compliant
Review, update, and implement administrative procedures, policies, and SOPs
Maintain and update company portals, systems, and software
Support marketing activities and internal/external communications
Coordinate accommodation bookings and logistics for staff and contractors
Manage HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and performance management
Oversee staff training, professional development, and leave planning
Support work health and safety (WHS) compliance and incident reporting
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and clients
About You
You’re organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities. You bring strong admin, finance, and people skills, ideally with experience in construction or a similar fast-paced environment.
