ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support the Finance department and internal stakeholders with general accounting duties and system support. This role plays a key administrative and support function within the broader Finance team, ensuring smooth financial operations and office management.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with other financial team members in month end process to ensure accurate CWIP, and delivery dockets are recorded.

Work closely with the finance team to ensure reporting deadlines are met and transactions are recorded accurately in compliance with accounting standards.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders, particularly those with significant financial accountability within the business.

Manage tender register and CRM system (Pipedrive) and provide detailed analysis such as margin analysis, win/loss rate and market trending.

Prepare reports from various sources and communicate the insights of these reports to the wider business.

Work closely with divisional managers to ensure accurate performance reporting and optimal performance outcomes are achieved.

Ensure that internal business processes and controls are maintained with consistency and compliance with accounting standards.

Ensure monthly analysis and reporting are completed within stipulated time frames.

Assist with budget preparation for revenue, labour cost, recovery, EBITDA etc.

Assist with financial model development and system implementation.

Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendation for process improvement.

Support the development of new and ongoing processes as the business continues to grow in coverage.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who can manage multiple responsibilities and contribute to the efficient operation of the Finance function.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A degree in accounting or a related field.

Experience in a finance role, preferably in a manufacturing or processing environment.

Prior experience in accounts receivable and debtor management (essential).

Ability to lead an administrative team.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems.

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

A friendly, proactive, and professional approach.
