About us
Picasso Foods manufactures chilled pizzas, ready-meals and bakery items for Australia’s major retailers. We operate in a fast-moving, short shelf-life environment where service, cost and accuracy matter every day.
The opportunity
We’re seeking a Supply Chain/Logistics Analyst to turn data into action across planning, warehousing and transport. You’ll improve DIFOT, cut waste and support S&OP with solid analysis and simple tools the team will actually use.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain daily/weekly dashboards for DIFOT/OTIF, fill rate, forecast accuracy, inventory days and shrink/write-offs.
Analyse outbound transport (primary/secondary), lane performance, 3PL KPIs, pallet flows and retailer compliance.
Support the production schedule and materials planning (MRP) to balance capacity vs. demand; highlight constraints and root causes.
Own master data quality for SKUs, pack formats, dimensional data and EDI accuracy; reconcile retailer portal exceptions.
Drive cost/benefit analyses: order profiles, MOQ/MTO decisions, route optimisation opportunities, pick strategies and dock utilisation.
Lead continuous improvement projects (e.g., OTIF uplift, returns reduction, packaging cube optimisation, late-cut-off trials).
Partner with Customer Service on order promising, allocations during shortages, and proactive communication with Customers.
Prepare concise weekly packs for leadership with actions, owners and due dates.
What you’ll bring
2–5+ years in supply chain/logistics/operations analytics (FMCG preferred; chilled a bonus).
Strong Excel (Power Query/Pivot), comfort with Power BI; Python/R is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with retailer portals/EDI and 3PL environments; pallet account experience helpful.
Clear communicator who can turn complex data into simple, operator-friendly actions.
Eye for process, accuracy and pace - comfortable in high-throughput, short shelf-life settings.
What we offer
Real responsibility and visible outcomes across factory, 3PL and customers.
Supportive team, learning culture and opportunities to broaden into S&OP and network design.
How to apply
Click Apply with your CV and a short note describing one supply chain problem you analysed, the action taken and the measurable result (e.g., +5% OTIF, −$x transport cost).
Right to work: Applicants must have full working rights in Australia.
We’re committed to equal opportunity, inclusion and fair recruitment practices.
