Our client is a global Tier 1 contractor delivering large-scale renewable and transmission projects across Australia, including solar farms, wind farms, and major bess.

As part of their continued investment to bring more electrical design capability in-house, they’re expanding their engineering team and are looking for a Design Coordinator to support the Design Manager with project delivery and design coordination on a major BESS project in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Design Manager in coordinating the design process
• Help ensure design activities align with project goals, timelines, and budgets
• Liaise with internal construction, procurement, and commissioning teams
• Assist with technical coordination and document control
• Keep records updated for design progress, changes, and RFIs
• Help prepare project reports and weekly design progress updates
• Support stakeholder management and subcontractor/consultant coordination
• Provide general assistance across interdisciplinary design activities

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong background in administration and document control
• Keen to grow your career towards design management and project delivery
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong communicator who works well across different teams
