We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Filling Machine Operator to take charge of our liquid and powder filling operations at Krystalshield in Smeaton Grange. You’ll lead a small team, running production efficiently, safely, and to a high standard — filling products that go onto retail shelves for a major Australian brand

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and oversee both liquid and powder filling lines.
• Lead a team of casuals (liquids daily, powders during production weeks).
• Plan and manage filling schedules for both client and in-house products.
• Ensure all products are filled, labelled, and packed accurately and safely.
• Handle minor machine adjustments and basic maintenance.
• Keep production on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain records, quality checks, and ensure compliance with QA and safety standards.

About You
• Experience in manufacturing, ideally in liquid or powder filling.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Understanding of safety and quality procedures.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).

• Chemical filling experience is required for this position.

• Supervisor-level experience is essential for leading our production teams.

• A minimum of 2 years supervisor experience is required to effectively lead our production teams.

• Minimum of 3+ years experience in manufacturing or production environment is required.

• Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 20 kgs).

Manual dexterity and ability to operate machinery.

Work Environment:

The role is performed in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and moving parts.

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

This position operates on day shift only.
